Adjusvant therapy

• Together with pain medications, short-term use of braces may be helpful when pain is sever.
• If hip joint pain is very intense, hip traction can be applied for short periods.

• Heat therapy is effective to alleviate pain.
  Cold therapy is more useful than heat therapy in relieving acute inflammatory responses (joint redness and swelling).
