Walking
- Walk slowly at a comfortable speed.
- Keep your back straight, take long strides, and let your arms swing slightly.

Aqua exercise
- Get some help from instructors when swimming or doing other water-based exercise for the first time.
- Search aqua exercise programs provided by community health centers for arthritis patients.

Cycling
- Select a bicycle with straight handlebars and wear helmet. Ride a bicycle in bike lane or park.
- Avoid cycling if you have osteoporosis or a problem with balance.
